The literature has overlooked such effects. So, to collect data, a mail survey was conducted on a representative sample in Nishi-Tokyo city in Tokyo (sample size is 265). Respondents are asked how to express happiness in a word. These answers are categorized into seven groups by a text mining analysis. Subjective happiness is measured on a four-point scale. Following are revealed. (1) By distribution, half of respondents recall \"mental stability\" and related words, followed by health, family, and everyday life. (2) By regression analysis, respondents feel happier if they imagine family or everyday life. Income and employment, on the other hand, reduce happiness. Therefore, words like family and everyday life boost happiness as non-material conditions, while those like income and employment lower happiness as material conditions.
