On the other hand, in the field of algebra the property of strings is also investigated from the different viewpoint with the computer science. In this study we first define the string inductively from the viewpoint of the computer science and formalize it from the viewpoint of algebra by using the notion of initial algebra. Then, we confirm that the set of all strings has the property of free monoid. Finally, we propose a new notion called \"signed string\" as a consequence of this consideration.
