Based on the studies on management information systems, basic concepts such as information, information systems, decision support, and the evolution on the purpose of information systems, including current implementation status, are adopted.  The status of information and communication technology (ICT) industry and development process of information systems is also described using various statistics.  Evaluation by 170 students shows that relationship between user enterprises and IT, relationship between user enterprises and ICT industry, and the evolution on the purpose of information systems are well received.
