 note = {In recent years, sport policy in New Zealand has attracted international attention for its production of positive results. Here the promotion of sport by national and regional sports bodies, and its relation to school based sport and physical education is noticeable. Accordingly, in this paper we investigated the state of regional sport in New Zealand in order to examine sport promotion policy and education in New Zealand. Results showed that sport promotion in New Zealand is aided by systems which make it easy for educational and regional sports bodies to share information; in addition to access of people, products or services and finances for the regional promotion of sport. Each organization is able to assess the best means of growing their respective sport based on this approach.},
