ネットワーク情報学部では，「社会知性の開発」という本学の教育理念に沿って，学部内に産官学連携委員会を設置して，社会と連携して学部教育を実施している．特にプロジェクト科目では，学内外の組織と協力し，学生の活動する場を整え，良い成果を出すよう動機付けを行う．学生のプロジェクトメンバーは，企業や大学が出展する川崎国際環境技術展2013に出展し，一般来場者，企業人に説明し，また他の出展ブースを廻り，社会の動向と最新技術を学び，本学の教育理念「社会知性の開発」を，身を以って体験した．
School of Network and Information practice the University’s 21st Century vision “Development of Socio-Intelligence”．The third-grade requisite subject, project is conducted in cooperation with intramural and extramural organizations. In the year 2012, the project team produced remarkable results, and exhibited them at the Kawasaki Eco-Tech Fair 2013.
